Lucie is in love
With her new computer! Here in our department of France (lucky 13!), all students in 4eme (or 8th grade to Americans) receive a beautiful HP laptop with Windows 7 free of charge! It is a gift from the Bouches-du-Rhone government and Lucie and her friends sure appreciate it! They received them last Friday at the end of the school day. I had to go and sign for the computer as did all of the other parents of the excited teenagers. The school was definitely abuzz that afternoon! Once we got it home, Lucie had to charge it overnight before she could turn it on. The next morning was like Christmas at our house because she was so excited about her computer. We set up skype, loaded Facebook as her home page and moved her email account. Right off the bat, she was in love! She so enjoys announcing that she is going upstairs to work (or more likely play!) on HER computer. Life is good.

Hi guys, A couple of things. First, put a piece of tape over the camera, if there is one, and leave it there unless Lu is using it. There just might be software installed that lets people activate the camera remotely, and we wouldn't want that. Second, could you help her find me on skype and charlie too?
