On Wednesday evening, we had a wonderful barbeque at Annick and Philippe's house. Loriane and Veronique came with their families and we talked and laughed and reminisced about the time we have shared together in Eygalieres. How lucky we are to have made such wonderful friends!! Philippe prepared chicken and fish on his cool Weber grill, Loriane delicious ratatouille and olive dip and Vero contributed a fabulous rice salad. We finished up the meal with cheese and a wonderful fruit salad. The kids hung out together and everyone enjoyed each other's company!
The big event of the evening was Amaelle buying her new car - our old Ford Fiesta! She is 18 years old and received her drivers' license this week! She worked the entire month of June waiting tables to make money for the car!! She was so proud and excited and we were thrilled that our faithful Fiesta will have such a wonderful new owner! Congratulations Amaelle!!
