Olives!

It is once again olive-picking time in Provence! We spent a couple of days while my parents were here harvesting the olives from our yard and we were thrilled to get 26.5 kilos on the first day. Not much according to many people, but tons for us since we only harvested 5.5 kilos last year!! Our friends, Heidi and Jean Paul Becker, also allowed us to pick the olives on their trees which added to our haul. Like last year, we took our olives to the Moulin du Calanquet and will look forward to picking up our freshly pressed oil in mid-December. Guess some people will probably be getting olive oil for Christmas! Cool!
