Joining the circus

During the second week of spring break, Kathleen participated in the Ophidie Circus stage (or training as we would say in English) with her friend, Nina. Nina has attended the stage every year since she was three years old so she is practically a pro, but it was Kathleen's first time to do many of the activities including walking on stilts, swinging from a trapeze and flying from a rope! Kathleen's dancing skills definitely came in handy during the training so she was quite successful and she certainly had a wonderful time. The last day of the stage, the parents were invited to attend a performance and we were absolutely overwelmed by how much the children learned in a week. It was very impressive and there were lots of kids with plans to join the circus!
