La derniere danse

On June 19th, Kathleen and Lucie participated in La Derniere Danse, the year end 'spectacle' for Studio Kat's. It was a spectacular event full of talented dancers, fabulous choreography (thanks to Kathelyn Martini) and beautiful costumes (thanks to Elyane Walravens). There were also some tears...Kathelyn is closing her studio after years of teaching so the show was extra special. Plus, since we are moving back to the States, it was our last event with Studio Kat's which has been a huge part of our lives while living in Eygalieres.

The show was made up of dances from around the world including rock, the tango and even the French cancan! Kathleen performed in fourteen dances including three solos that she had done for her concours. Lucie took the stage for seven numbers and it was so fun to see both girls dancing together. I was certainly proud and very touched by the entire experience.
