La fete de musique

To celebrate the first day of summer, numerous towns in Provence have musical festivals on June 21. Lucie performed in a fete during the day in Chateaurenard with her entire school in attendance, and again that evening in Graveson. I attended the evening event and was totally impressed by the music. Throughout the school year, Lucie has been playing the electric piano with a group of classmates. Monsieur Sorba, a teacher at St. Jos, is the band's leader and encourages the students to have fun and enjoy the music. Playing in the the band has been a great experience for Lucie and I am so proud of her for doing it!
