Getting settled

Today is day three in Croix-Rousse and we are getting settled in nicely. The cabana is a great room - Bucky cleaned it the other day and we set it up as a play/study room. All of the American Girl things are out there with the art supplies and Calvert (homeschooling) stuff. It is a nice getaway space for the girls.

It is raining today, but that didn't prevent us from heading to the market that is on Rue de la Croix-Rousse. It is a HUGE market with fruits, veggies, meat and cheese, as well as, clothes and housewares. We bought a couple of ice trays and some much needed "tupperware." We also bought basic fruits and vegetables for the next couple of days.

Tonight we are going to have a drink with Emmanuelle and Gilles at the house of a friend of theirs who lives in our neighborhood. They have children and Emmanuelle is hoping the girls can play with them and improve their french. Tomorrow, Emmanuelle is accompanying us to the bank so that we can (hopefully!) open a bank account. Should be intesting! A bientot!
