We started school (Calvert homeschooling) on Thursday. We insisted on taking a "first day of school" picture and Lucy insisted on wearing her pajamas just because she could! We are holding "class" out in the cabana which is a great space for us. The girls were keen on looking through their books and getting started on the lessons. It is a really organized and structured program and it seems to be a great fit for the Wall girls. Kathleen especially liked checking off the things she had accomplished in the lesson book - some apples don't fall far from the tree! We need to go to the store and get notebooks to set up for Science, History, Reading and Spelling which should be fun since the school supplies are out in full force at the stores and just so French!
