The first thing we visited was the nursery where we saw lots of baby birds, including baby flamingos who couldn’t even stand on two feet, much less one! The highlight of the day was a “birds in flight” show. It was really spectacular…the opening scene was three pelicans flying into the arena from the lake – really cool! The temperature, however, was HOT. It was 36 degrees Celsius which is about 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Basically, it was HOT. Luckily, there is no humidity, but it is still tough to deal with 95 degrees! We enjoyed the park and when we came home, enjoyed cool showers! It was another great day in France.
We did think about our comrades in Mt. Pleasant attending Fact & Fee day at MPA. We hope everyone got the teacher she or he wanted and that everyone is excited about the first day of school tomorrow. The Walls will be thinking about everyone at MPA, Moultrie and Wando High School (word up Canham!).
