Makes me want to buy an old car

In clear view of the our deck at the Defaix’s, sits the chateau that holds the Henri Malarte museum, housing an incredible collection of cars, motorcycles and bicycles dating from the mid-19th century. The three-story chateau is supplemented by another warehouse and has some collectibles and very cool limited edition European cars. The curator even allowed the girls to sit in a kid-sized racer. We took a gazillion pictures, mostly to show Jean’s dad, Jim, when he and her mom, Ann, come for a visit in October.

Afterwards we found a short cut to our apartment in Croix Rousse, and then found a restaurant on the Saone where Jean & I had beers and the girls ice cream.

A hot, but good day in Lyon!

A bag of coal and check the tires, please.

This Deux Cheveux went around the world!

My favorite. Noice that the steering wheel is in the middle!
